Foundation Induction sessions are going well and it is lovely meeting everyone!

A Warm Welcome From The Headteacher

It is my great pleasure to welcome you to our school website.  Cedarwood Primary is a friendly school situated in the heart of the Kesgrave community. Our staff, pupils, parents and governors are committed to achieving the highest possible standards. At Cedarwood, we value every child and aim to achieve Excellence and Enjoyment for All.  Children’s happiness and well-being is paramount and we seek to develop confident, creative individuals who share a passion for learning.

Our curriculum is carefully planned to bring the subjects of the National Curriculum to life so that pupils develop their knowledge and skills in a way that inspires their curiosity and equips them for their futures.  The success of the school can be seen in our well-rounded, happy and confident learners who move onto high school well-prepared for the next stage in their lives.

I am very proud of our school and hope this website will offer an insight into the fantastic things happening at Cedarwood.

(children born between 1.9.2016 and 31.8.2017)

Welcome to all our new and existing families who have a child starting with us in September!  We enjoyed meeting you all at our Induction Evenings, and the Induction Sessions have been well attended so far.  If you have any questions, please email Sarah Linsell, our Pupil Administrator, on admin@cedarwoodprimary.org.uk

The closing dates for on-time applications has now passed, but if you have exceptional circumstances, such as recently moved into the area, then please log on to Suffolk County Council's website and make an application.  Please click here for a step by step guide to applying for a primary school place for 2021/2022 - this will give you details of how to apply under Step 5.

Places available in our Foundation Class this year
We have places in our current (2020/21) Foundation year group as well as in Year 2 and Year 3. You do not need to live in Kesgrave to apply for a place in our school and we are always pleased to have the opportunity to welcome new families to Cedarwood.

Take a look at our video to see our school!
