Pupil Ambassadors
At Cedarwood, we are proud that our children feel passionately about social issues and welcome opportunities to make a positive impact on the world. Our Pupil Ambassadors are positive role models within the school community. They keep up to date with current issues and work with their peers to seek solutions to problems and make suggestions for improvements.
Pupil Ambassador roles promote leadership opportunities, enabling pupils to develop valuable communication, organisation and debating skills through key roles of responsibility and new experiences which benefit the school and wider community. These groups provide opportunities for pupils to communicate their opinions as well as influence the decisions that are made on their behalf. Pupil Ambassadors relish the opportunity to become a greater part of school life and grow in confidence as they experience making their voices heard and seeing the positive influence this has.
Groups meet regularly to discuss issues, share the voice of their peers and work together to move projects forward. Minutes of meetings are taken and shared with the school community.
