Pupil Leadership and Ambassadors
At Cedarwood, we want our pupils to know that their ideas matter and that they can make a difference. We are proud of how passionately our children care about their school, their community and the world around them.
There are lots of ways for pupils to get involved and lead change. Our Pupil Parliament, Eco Councillors, Junior Road Safety Officers, Digital Leaders, Reading Champions, Wellbeing Ambassadors and Science Ambassadors give children the chance to follow their interests, represent others and help make Cedarwood even better.
Being an ambassador is about having a voice – and using it! Pupils share ideas, listen to their classmates, tackle issues, lead projects and work together to turn great ideas into action. Along the way, they develop confidence, teamwork, communication and leadership skills.
Most importantly, children get to see that their ideas can have a real impact – in our school, our community and beyond.
